Exclusive: England U21 striker on Chelsea shortlist as January replacement for Radamel Falcao and has advantage of home-grown status
At 22 Said Berahino seems very keen on a move. He famously threatened to go on strike at WBA in the summer when a proposed move failed to materialise.
He should already be a full England international and he has a remarkable 10 goals in 11 games for the U21s. But his problems at club level have perhaps stymied his progress.
But a big move still seems on and we think that Chelsea could do far worse.
Because it’s not just pace that Berahino has in bucket loads. He also has great composure and finesse in front o goal.
With the right focus this is an international starter and we think that Chelsea could be signing a gem if they go for him.
Let’s see Berahino in action.
