Really?

According to reports in Italy Manchester United are keen to try to snare a talented young attacking midfielder from Chelsea.

The Metro reports that Manchester United are prepared to pay £10.6m for a player who is frustrated by a lack of game item at Stamford Bridge.

They say:

Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to complete the transfer of Chelsea’s Charly Musonda.

The Belgium U21 international certainly looks like a decent prospect. He’s quick, got good close control and a powerful shot on him.

But, if he is that good, can you really imagine Jose Mourinho letting him leave Chelsea?

Mourinho must still be sore about having let Kevin de Brunye leave Stamford Bridge 18 months ago before shooting to stardom.

Having lost out on that one he must be even more apprehensive about letting his talented youngsters go, regardless of how little game time they are currently getting.

So we have to say that we think this one is dead in the water. Feel free to pop it in the ‘highly unlikely’ pile on your way out.

But for the sake of footy thirst, let’s see the lad in action anyway.

Manchester United fans: any chance?
