Arsenal

A Title Winning Signing: But Manchester United surely won’t get him

Sanchez is the nuts

The Best

We can sense the transfer window on the horizon now that the outrageous tabloid headlines are starting to come to the fore once more.

Alexis Sanchez is the name on the lips of many a rumour monger today as we report that The Guardian reports that someone else reports that Manchester United plan to make a move for the Arsenal star.

Let’s start by saying that he would have been a fantastic signing for Manchester United when he left Barcelona two summers ago.

But now he is an even better and more complete player having found his goalscoring boots on the left of Arsenal’s attack.

Sanchez is the nuts

Sanchez is the nuts

He would offer exactly the sort of speed and penetration on the flanks that Louis is after. And he has the final ball which players like Memphis are currently struggling to produce.

Now for the reality.

Unless Sanchez himself demands a move, there is no way that Arsenal would sanction a deal to Manchester United – especially mid-season.

But, if The Gunners fail to qualify for the knockout phases of The Champions League this term, Sanchez may quickly become disillusioned.

This is, after all a top drawer talent in his prime, who put the much more expensive Manchester United recruit, Angel di Maria, in the shade last season.

In short, he’s one of the best 5 players in the league and of course he would improve United’s team.

But, unless the player wants a move, it won’t happen. Even then, it might not happen. In general, it probably won’t happen.

Let’s see the wonderful Chilean in action.
