Everton’s winning XI to face Norwich?

Everton gave a good performance against Arsenal at the weekend which demonstrated that the can now compete comfortably at the top level.

But that defeat will have taken a lot out of the legs ahead of this midweek Capital One Cup game against struggling Norwich (4th round tie, Goodison Park, Kick Off 19:45 Local Time, Tuesday).

But with Gareth Barry suspended and Jagielka, Baines, Besic, Pienaar and Hibbert all unlikely to be fit for this one, Everton boss Roberto Martinez is going to have to select his team wisely.

Everton will prioritise the the Premier League points on offer against Sunderland at Goodsion Park this weekend but a nice cup run fills the coffers and pleases the fans.

With all this in mind we have gone for a strong XI but one which shows enough changes from the weekend to allow some keys players to have a rest before the return of The Premier League.

So here is our eleven in a game which is tough to call but should see Everton make it to the next round.

Toffees fans: discuss.
