Yes, we have the Manchester derby tomorrow and that is probably the tie of the weekend.
But in terms of the Saturday fixture list, they don’t get much more intriguing than this one.
History suggests that, after a flying start to the season, West Ham will drop off the pace over the next few weeks.
But they have beaten Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City already this season so they certainly know how to take on the big boys.
And they have bought brilliantly over the last year or so to give them a genuinely competitive squad.
West Ham’s home form isn’t as impressive as their away day performance levels.
But with Chelsea really struggling this season they would not have chosen a tough away game at West Ham after a big trip to Eastern Europe in the week.
Literally anything can happen in this one and we sense that if West Ham get the first goal then Chelsea may have to settle for a draw at best.
We will most definitely be following this one.
