It’s difficult for some to believe that, after a quarter of the season, 5th will play 6th when Leicester take on Crystal Palace this afternoon.
There were big concerns about Claudio Ranieri coming in to Leicester this season but his team has been absolutely buoyant and played really nice football as well as getting some excellent results.
As for Alan Pardew, well things couldn’t have gone much better for him since he returned to Crystal Palace.
The Newcastle shackles have been released and the man has been allowed to concentrate on matters on the pitch.
Leicester have only lost one in 5 after winning two and drawing two of late.
Meanwhile Crystal Palace have suffered a couple of defeats but also won 3 of their last five so their form is good.
It’s anyone’s guess which way this will go but what is almost for certain is that both teams will be going for it with their high energy and attacking game plans.
It’s definitely one of the more intriguing games of The Premier League weekend for our money.
