Arsenal: The Wenger Grin is Back – but for how long this time? A prediction

Grin

Arsene Wenger rightly saluted his team for their efforts against Bayern Munchen on Tuesday night at a packed and joyous Emirates Stadium in North London.

Bayern put 765 passes together, compared to just 278 from Arsenal. But possession counts for little if you don’t do anything with it. We saw that in United’s performance against The Gunners.

And a resolute performance where Arsenal were largely outplayed but, crucially, took their chances left Wenger with that famous gleeful grin of his.
