Chelsea superstar destined for departure?

Falcao: Poor

Poor

Ever since he came to English football there has been a sense of excitement that his moment will finally come. That he will finally turn the corner and get back to his bewitching best.

He had a season at Manchester United but scored only four goals in a very disappointing campaign.

Then Chelsea took a punt on Radamel Falcao, hoping that his sharpness would finally return after two serious knee injuries.

But, so far, The Colombian has failed to spark for Jose either, with just one goal so far this season.

And the Chelsea boss had this to say about the player:

“I always go for the performance level. The best one plays,” said Mourinho.

“He has to give us more than Diego because we normally play with one striker.”

The Mirror reported this week that the player could leave England as early as January, in search of regular football.

The same BBC report states that Jose said that would not be the case, but the player continues to tread water and one wonders whether he will ever return to his previous level in England.

We think that a move away from Chelsea, to a slightly slower-paced league like La Liga in Spain, is surely the best solution for a player who still has time to rediscover his form at the age of 29.
