‘Edge of your seat’: Manchester United target is worth the ticket price according to club legend

Despite Manchester United starting to look like a really accomplished team again, we believe that they will still be looking for further investment in the attacking areas.

With Wayne Rooney still coming back to the boil and perfect balance still to be found with the front four, one more pacy forward addition may be the final piece in the jigsaw.

And after the start to the season he has had, there is no reason to think that Manchester United’s reported interest in Southampton forward Sadio Mane has cooled.

Mane was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer months and his four goals in eleven games this season has left Saints legend Matt Le Tissier positively druelling.

He told The Daily Echo:

“Sadio is the one who gets you on the edge of your seat,”

Mane: Potential Game Changer

“He’s so unpredictable and defenders find it difficult to keep up with someone with that much pace.

“He puts defenders on the back foot straight away. “

He went on to say that the Senegal international, who has 7 goals in 23 games for his country, has got even better this season.

“This season he does seem to have found something a little bit extra, which is terrific,”

At 23 we think that the list of suitors is going to get even longer. Mane has pace and mobility but also the composure to offer a great final ball and goals too.

We think that Anthony Martial’s performance at the weekend could see him remain out on the left flank for some time to come. With Memphis on the right Mane could play in the hole for Manchester United and cause absolute havoc.

Let’s take a look at the brilliant international in action.
