Latest reports in England suggest that Real Madrid have joined the race to sign the brilliant 24 year old Antoine Griezmann.
The French international will be well known to Real Madrid fans as he has been one of the stand out performers in La Liga over the last couple of years and The Guardian reckons that Madrid are ready to make a move:
Real Madrid are plotting a smash-and-grab for Antoine Griezmann, with Chelsea also reported to be interested in the Frenchman
After 5 formative years at Real Sociedad (52 goals in 201 games), Griezmann moved to Atletico at the start of last season and has been a sensation scoring 30 goals in 59 games – and he isn’t even a conventional striker.
The Frenchman is much more of a modern wide man who likes to drift in and scores goals from the flank.
He is, in many ways, the perfect modern forward who scores as many goals as he assists.
Quite where he would play in a front four which, when everyone is fit, includes Rodriguez, Ronaldo and Bale, is anyone’s guess.
But we genuinely believe that this man has the ability to make the grade at Real Madrid and perhaps even take the place of Bale in the starting line up.
Let’s take a look at the French star in action.
