In days gone by you would be tempted to put a substantial amount on a home win for Chelsea in this fixture.
Indeed it would have a 2-0 written all over it for a Chelsea team in its pomp.
Unfortunately, this Chelsea incarnation is not in its pomp and, until defensive changes are made then the same problems will recur.
Fortunately for Jose, many of the current problems can be resolved from within the squad available to the boss.
What he could use is another top centre back. He may well go for one in the window. Until then we are going put the power of Zouma alongside the experience of John Terry.
At right back the fall from grace of Ivanovic has been shocking. This may just be a bad run of form – either way he needs to be dropped.
Azpilicueta can play right and Baba on the left.
This should give Chelsea a much better foundation against a side who will definitely be on the front foot for spells of the game.
Further forward Oscar looks average and Cesc has lost his zest.
We say get rid of both for now and play the excellent Kenedy in the hole with Willian and Hazard either side.
Pedro too drops out after some indecisive minutes on the park of late.

2 Chelsea under 21 defenders and a midfielder on the subs bench. solanke I think would do better than falcao. in January get another striker: What i seen of sakho of west ham he looks good, a real quick striker ( a nuisance to defenders). Greizman in midfield would have had the pace, ( should have bought him)
Chelsea need extra pace. Chelsea used to have robben and duff, so for now use willain and kenedy. Ramires is like the Duracell bunny – he runs all day!! He deserves his chance on last few games. fabregas seems slow at the moment and should be dropped. Chelsea’s demise is not helped by, fabregas, ivanovic and a striker who at the moment couldn’t hit a barn door, FALCAO. give solanke a few starts and Chelsea may be pleasantly surprised
