A Great in Waiting

We are already big fans of Bastian Schweinsteiger at Manchester United.

Not only does he seem to buck the modern trend of players who move clubs simply for financial reasons, but he also played brilliantly on his debut for Manchester United.

And it’s very reassuring to hear such an accomplished player – who, lest we forget, won The World Cup with Germany last summer – talking in great terms about another new signing.

Manchester United signed Memphis Depay at the very start of the summer and the Germany captain says that United have a special player on their hands. He said:

‘Memphis is an unbelievable talent and he has so much quality and I am sure we will have a lot of fun with him on the pitch,’

Depay was fairly quiet on his 45 minute debut for United in their first pre-season game against Club America, playing in a number 10 role behind Wayne Rooney.

But we have tipped duties lad for the very top and are hoping to see him grow into the team over the next few years.

At just 21 years of age we feel that he is already ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo for his age, having scored 22 goals in 28 league games for PSV last season.

Ronaldo was still very much in his formative and inconsistent period at the same time of his career.

We wait with bated breathing for the next instalment of his exciting career.

Let’s see his highlights against Club America.

I have no doubt in my mind that Memphis Depay will be a sccess in Man U. I’ve watched him played a few matches in his club, l also watched all the matches he played in World cup. He very intelligen with the ball, and he scores with both legs.
