Sky Sports have seen fit this afternoon to pass on the latest rumour with regards Karim Benzema to Arsenal.
BENZEMA ‘OPEN’ TO ARSENAL MOVE
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is open to discussing a possible move to Arsenal, claims Spanish newspaper El Confidencial.
While the source isn’t the most respected in sports media history, we think that a deal for Karim to leave Real Madrid could be on.
Rafa Benitez already has a great squad at his disposal but he may well feel that he needs to make a signing to symbolise the start of his era at the club.
Benzema could yet be the fall guy for Rafa.
He has just had possibly his best season at Real Madrid and, at 27, he’s in his prime.
But his name has been linked to a move almost since he joined the club and Arsenal were linked to a bid last week.
And can you imagine how good Arsenal would be with him in the ranks?
Let’s not pretend that Olivier Giroud isn’t a good finisher. And he’s still improving.
But Benzema’s all round game is better. While Giroud can go missing in the biggest fixtures, Benzema is the man for the big occasion. And even when he doesn’t provide the decisive moment of the game he works his socks off for the team.
He’s a dream signing and we strongly believe that, despite the brilliance of Sanchez las year, Benzema would be Wenger’s best signing yet.

Arsene Wenger should not waste all the time in the transfer market to get all prospective and ongoing deals done as soon as possible. Go for the best and get them signed, sealed and delivered. He’s a good buy, surely one of the best buy in the transfer for now. Thank you.
