Reports: Arsenal have made two bids worth a total of £47.6m

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been known to bide his time in the summer market but, if reports are to be believed, he has made early moves in the transfer market this summer for two superb potential additions.

Gazettto Dello Sport says that Arsenal have made a 29.4m bid for Gonzalo Higuain – a player who has been on the radar for some time.

Meanwhile The Daily Star reckons that an £18.2m bid for the brilliant young midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia has been made

Higuain

At 27 he’s played for top clubs in Italy and Spain and done the business at both. Question marks over his mobility at times but he is easily one of the best finishers in the world and that’s what Arsenal need. A man who can make the difference at the highest level.

Kondogbia

Arsenal need a world class striker and a world class anchor man. Coquelin will be a big part of the squad next season but Arsenal need more depth in that area and Kondogbia is a gem. He can also play at centre back which provides an even more compelling case for his signing.

We think that if Arsenal bought these two and Petr Cech they would be more than ready to make a serious case for winning the title next season.

Let’s have a look at Higuain in action. Arsenal fans the perfect double signing?
