This is a remarkable story which has developed very quickly. It could still just all be unfounded speculation, as noone has yet made a direct comment about it.
But when you consider the amount of media attention that it has got there surely has to be something to it.
Chelsea have surprised many by reportedly showing an interest in Manchester United’s on loan star Radamel Falcao. Having turned out 29 times for Manchester United last season he scored just 4 goals and many felt that he wasn’t cut out for The Premier League – especially after serious injuries seems to have blunted his sharpness around the box.
But there were portents of the great player inside and we feel hat if he had been given a proper run of consecutive games in the Manchester United side then he would have shown us what he was really made of.
Alas he didn’t really get that opportunity but Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho seems to have seen the potential and latest reports suggest that the player wants a resolution before he goes to The Copa America on June 14th according to The Telegraph.
Radamel Falcao wants to complete a move to Chelsea before Colombia start their Copa America campaign on June 14.
As reported by the Telegraph last month, Falcao is desperate to join Chelsea this summer and is prepared to take a big cut to his £265,000-a-week wages to make a deal happen.
We have said before that the Chelsea manager rarely gets it wrong in the transfer market and Falcao’s potential is almost limitless. At 29 he can still do the business in England.
Chelsea fans: Can Jose return Radamel to the top?
