One of Everton’s priorities this summer has to be a striker. Romelu Lukaku is the main man and will continue to improve next season. But the burden needs to be bettered shared around the squad now that Samuel Eto’o has further lightened the numbers up top at Everton.

According to reports in France, the Toffees have made contact with the Championship club over the transfer of the French teenager.
Just 18 years of age but this is a name that has been spoken with some enthusiasm for over a year. Dembele has played at every youth international level for France up to the U19s and scored regularly.
Patently still a work in progress he hasn’t yet got on the scoresheet in 12 attempts for Fulham. But perhaps this is exactly the sort of player that Everton could use. He won’t expect many minutes straight away but might just surprise a few people as the season progresses.
