Now this one really would be a classic Premier League tale. Chelsea were ripped to shreds by Radamel Falcao a few years ago in The Super Cup and he looked as if he may move to Stamford Bridge at that stage.
A deal never materialised and, after the serious injury, he went to Manchester United.
As we all know that one didn’t work out and Falcao is now rummaging around for another club. And The Telegraph reckons that he is prepared to take a pay cut to move to Chelsea.
We have to say that it sounds like a very interesting prospect indeed. Falcao is a player that clearly needs love. He didn’t get it at United but, if ever there was a manager who liked to put his arm around a player, it’s the Chelsea boss.

We think that it could be a match made in heaven. Although Falcao didn’t do the business last season there were glimpses of the old genius in there. At 29 you would imagine that there is still fair chance that Falcao will rediscover his old form. Even if he has lost a yard of pace he can still rediscover his shooting boots and become a really top player for Chelsea.
FINAL WORD: We would love to see Jose take Falcao under his wing at Chelsea. It would be a gamble but one that could pay huge dividends for The Blues.
