There are very few players in the world who could noticeably improve the front line at Real Madrid. But reports today suggest that the club may have bid for one of them. Eurosport reports:
Real Madrid bid €90m for Ronaldo replacement Aguero
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is unimpressed with Ronaldo’s public support of Carlo Ancelotti and has made Man City a big money offer for Sergio Aguero.
Having seen Aguero play many times for Manchester City, he is head and shoulders above most players in The Premier League. Along with his pace, superb technique and low centre of gravity, Aguero seems to do things faster than anyone around him. He’s so difficult to contain because he always seems half a yard quicker than the opponent.
He’s a fantastic finisher and ended the season miles ahead of the rest as The Premier League’s top goalscorer with 26 goals.
At 26 he seems content and settled in Manchester. But he would surely be tempted by a move to Real Madrid, where he would be expected to walk straight into the team – at whose expense? We would have to wait and see, but Aguero simply demands a start.
Let’s see the lad in action. Real Madrid fans: would you like to see him in the white shirt next season?
