There is an argument that Chelsea should play the kids at West Brom next Monday (Kick off 20:00 local time).
With the title in the bag and a long season behind them, few eyebrows would be raised if Jose gave the exceedingly promising youngsters a chance to gain vital Premier League experience.
But, in truth, Jose is such a competitor that he will want to score maximum points in the last two games. So while we may see a couple of young players assimilated into the side, this game should afford the more experienced, yet peripheral, squad members a chance for minutes.
Filipe Luis played well against Liverpool and should start again at left back. John Obi Mikel may get a game alongside Loftus-Cheek, in what could be his last game for the club. And Kurt Zouma deserves another run out.
Loic Remy should also get a run out with the brilliant Eden Hazard and Willian either side.
A quick mention of the Brazilian. For us he was the stand out performer against Liverpool and Chelsea should regard him as one of their most important players next season.
It’s party time for Chelsea but they will want to go out with a bang and try to reach that remarkable 90 point mark in the league.
So here’s our XI for the tough trip to West Brom.
