There has been talk of Gareth Bale moving to Chelsea this summer to form a bewitching partnership with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa up top.
While it would clearly be a superb signing, we think that Chelsea need to address other areas of the park more urgently. They have just signed Juan Cuadrado for £30m – he will surely improve – and Willian is also a top player. So Chelsea have great options out wide.
But, for our money, the midfield still needs another driving force to give the side more dynamism and pace going forward.
Cesc Fabregas has been a brilliant addition but he’s not dynamic like a Pogba or a Toure in his pomp. And Oscar regularly plays in the hole behind the front three but we think Chelsea can improve in this area.
And speculation this week that Manchester City and Liverpool are keen on Chelsea target Felipe Anderson should leave Jose Mourinho in a cold sweat.
Because Chelsea seems to us like the perfect place for this lad to shine. While Jose might not be able to afford Pogba, Anderson would cost half the price and looks every bit as good as the Frenchman.
He’s young, lightning quick, hard working and he scores goals. He has wonderful technique and we believe that, with him in the attacking midfield role Chelsea could dominate the league for years.
Bale would be a lovely addition but the money may be better spent on Felipe Anderson. Let’s see him in action. Chelsea fans: keen?

Anderson is not a bad option but i would still prefer proven pogba for physical presence and aerial prowess that the blues have lacked this season.
