A club like Bayern Munchen would tempt many to most players. But surely not if you already play for Chelsea. Under Jose Mourinho the title is coming back to Stamford Bridge and don’t think for a second that he is planning to rest there. We see a couple of big additions in the summer so that Chelsea don’t have a similar disappointment in Europe next year.
As for the player, he’s not 32 until towards the back end of next season and he still looks a strong as an ox. He’s also scored 6 times this term in one of his very best seasons for Chelsea.
BranVan – Absolute Beast of a man
You might argue that he would prefer to play at centre back but we would be tempted to put him there next season anyway, bring Cesar over from the left and buy a new left back.
So, unless the Chelsea boss is feeling particularly ruthless or has his eye on a Bayern Munchen player for a swap deal, we think that Blues fans can rest easy on this one.
