We say that The Telegraph says that The Metro says that Isco will still be on the wish list of Arsene Wenger this summer:
Arsenal have been cleared to sign Isco with Real Madrid ready to sell the play-maker for a bargain £32.9million.
Isco is a marvellous young talent. Although, on the face of it, it’s difficult to see Real Madrid letting him go, he doesn’t always fit comfortably into a team with two defensive midfielders and James Rodriguez in the hole. He’s one of these players that is too good to sit on the bench but wouldn’t necessarily get a start at his current club if everyone was fit.
So it’s not the most outlandish nation that he could leave Real this summer. And we know that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a fool for a playmaker. But, even though his recruitment policy has been questioned, he surely wouldn’t spend so much of the summer kitty on yet another central attacking midfielder would he?
With Ozil coming into form, Sanchez able to play through the middle and Ramsey, Cazorla and Wilshere on the books, where on earth would Wenger play him? Isco is also very effective out wide but Arsenal have Sanchez nailed on to start, with The Ox, Theo and Welbeck absolutely desperate for minutes when fit.
We are all for a bit of sexy transfer hype but there has to be some semblance of rationale behind the tale. Unless Wenger is planning to offload three or four of his creators this summer then this one is surely dead in the water. Isco COULD fit into the Arsenal side. But would it be the best use of cash considering their midfield strength?
Let’s see Isco in action. Arsenal fans: can you see it?

Not very outlandish to me. I see Arsenal off-loading a few players this summer. Diaby, Podolski, and Campbell might go. I am not sure about Rosicky, although I would love it if he stayed and played more than he has been playing. Not too sure about Arteta either. SO going for Isco, keeping in mind the potential injuries as well as Arsenal seem to have one player every year who is out for the season, is not a bad idea.
