This one sounds very unlikely, but don’t shoot the messenger. The Daily Star reports that Manchester United are to make a sensational move for Bayern Munchen goal machine Robert Lewandowski:
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly made an offer to Bayern Munich to sign Robert Lewandowski.
The Polish international has scored 185 goals in 342 games in his club career and has been a sensation since joining Bayern Munchen just last summer.
Manchester United will probably offload a couple of the older strikers in the summer,as Louis van goal looks to freshen up his attacking options. But we think that he will let Wayne Rooney loose on The Premier League by leaving him up top all season, fitness permitting.
We think that he is more likely to buy younger forwards in who can develop over time, rather than players who will come in and expect an immediate start. We have seen the imbalance of the squad this season with RvP, Falcao and Rooney all essentially fighting for the same berth in the side.
It seems more likely to us that Manchester United will sign younger forwards like Memphis Depay and Paulo Dybala in the coming transfer window.
But let’s see Lewandowksi in action. Manchester United fans: keen?
