Despite possessing a squad of myriad talent, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has regularly been accused of not addressing the biggest weaknesses in his squad.
One of those arguable weaknesses is up top where Arsenal have very good, but not great, strikers. We concur that, since the departure of RvP, Arsenal don’t have a number 9 who can turn the tightest of games.
The Daily Star reports that one potential target is being touted by his agent. Paulo Dybala looks like another Sergio Aguero in the making. He’s lightning fast, powerful and hits the ball so early that there are definite similarities with the Manchester City master.
“We have received important offers for Dybala, including from abroad where he is in particular wanted by an English club. There are two or three Italian proposals too.
“Is he worth €40m? Well, a player like him certainly can’t be just given away.”
Dybala has been regularly linked with The Gunners, with some reports suggesting that the club are in talks to seal a deal for the electric forward. We think that he would be a sensation in England and, at 21, he’s got years in the tank. He would either, ulimately, make Arsenal champions or go to Spain and make the club a huge profit.
At 21, Dybala has already played 86 times for Serie A side Palermo and hit the net on 20 occasions. He is clearly available at the right price form a club who needs to sell to balance the books.
He’s a must buy player and here is why.
