Whoever gets this kid is gong to be a lucky winner. Because the name of Paulo Dybala has adorned the back pages for some time and been linked to some of the biggest clubs in the world. For one so young he’s already razor sharp and can only get better.
The Metro reports that Arsenal are at the head of the queue and will meet to discuss the deal in the coming days:
Arsenal are set to meet with Palermo officials next week to seal the signing of Paulo Dybala.
The Gunners could put a huge contract offer on the table and would be more than willing to pay Palermo’s £28.9million asking price.
He does look like the real deal. A player who, at 21, is already leading the line brilliantly in Serie A with 12 goals in 28 games for his club this season. He also looks like the sort of player who can score goals in the tightest of situations – make something out of nothing. And while Arsenal have the excellent likes of Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck in their side, for our money they do still lack a world class forward – someone who can change games when backs are against the wall. RvP used to do it and Thierry Herny before him.
But until they sign another they may struggle to go those final few yards in Europe.
Let’s have a look at the lad in action. Arsenal fans: the best possible choice?
