Too Good

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has accepted that his star signing of the summer has become something of a victim of his own success. Alexis Sanchez arrived at the start of the season and has gone on to become arguably one of the best signings that the Frenchman has ever made.

He has scored 19 in 39 games for Arsenal and is comfortably one of the best performers in the league this season. He not only scores but creates so much for his team mates and also works his socks off. In many ways, he’s the perfect player.

The Arsenal boss has admitted that the player is a little tired but that he is finding it difficult to rest the lad with so many crunch games coming up.

He’s quoted in The Daily Mail as saying:

‘He’s a bit fatigued and in a position where he has scored less,’

‘I’m tempted to give him a break at some stage. I have been for a long time. It’s not that he won’t let me, I will decide that. It’s just that every game now is so important, you always have a hesitation to do it.’

Arsenal went out of The Champions League in the second round yet again in the week, despite a 2-0 victory against Monaco in France. But the season is far from over with Arsenal looking to defend their FA Cup crown and also fighting for top 4 in one of the fiercest Champions League battles for years.

But Sanchez is the catalyst for everything good at Arsenal this season and he may find that he plays virtually every game between now and the end of the season, despite the fatigue.

Let’s see some of his best moments for Arsenal this season.
