Power

This one would be very good indeed for Arsenal. A few weeks back The Sunday Times, who are typically very accurate with their football news, suggested that Arsenal would look to solve their soft centre by trying to recruit to the brilliant Newcastle midfiedler Moussa Sissoko.

The 25 year old joined Newcastle in 2013 and was an instant hit, adding much needed drive and dynamism to the Toon midfield. Arsenal could certainly use his abilities. And the player has spoken about his love for Arsenal in a thing veiled ‘come and get me’ plea.

He is quoted a saying:

“When I was young, Arsenal was my favourite club.

“There was my idol Patrick Vieira. I’ve always loved this club, I still love them.

He also alluded to a potential move by saying:

“I have an agent [Bakari Sanogo] that takes care of that. If something should happen, it will happen.

It’s a risky move to express his love for Arsenal when he;’s playing for another Premier League club. Some may even see it as a ploy to alienate and ultimately force his way out of the club.

We may be getting ahead of the story. But, while Arsenal may be able to being in a safer bet, they would struggle to sing a more exciting option for the midfield. With 27 caps for France we think that Sissoko could be an absolute gem of a signing to drive Arsenal forward for thew next 5 years or so.

Let’s take look at him in action. Arsenal fans: best midfield option?

I think it’s unfair all this speculation naming certain players who we have no intention of signing.I think it is unfair for the following reasons,1 It builds up false exceptions among our fans 2 It drives the value of the player way up beyond what he is worth,3 It un-settles the player and that is unfair to his current club,we don’t like similar speculation about our players.
However he would be a good addition to our team if the move were to happen but I for one wont be holding my breath.
