PICTURE: To Delight Manchester United fans Everywhere

Healthy squad at last

After what seemed like an interminable period of misery there is a genuine feel good factor at Manchester United right now. They have won their last six games. But, perhaps most impressively, they have largely done so without three of their very best players.

Radamel Falcao has been finding his fitness after a long injury and we are tipping him for a start this weekend.

Luke Shaw will be a world class wide man when he matures – and he’s already well worth a place in the side when fit.

And the British transfer record signing Angel di Maria has been out since early on in the Hull game in November.

So the presence of the Argentine on the training ground, as seen in this picture (Tweeted by Manchester United) will bring joy to the hearts of Manchester United fans everywhere. Although he may not start this weekend against Aston Villa, his return to the squad couldn’t be timed better with such a busy festive period coming up.

With Germany’s Bundesliga embarking on a 6 week winter break, the debate continues about whether England needs a similar hiatus in The Premier League in order to compete with the best on the international stage.

But Christmas is so much fun. The thought of depriving us of football in this period is too much to bear. So we say an emphatic NO to the Christmas break. Bring it on.

Here is a reminder to Manchester United fans of the great performances put in by Angel so far in his budding United career.
