Fantastic transfer boost for Real Madrid

It’s almost impossible to predict how young players will turn out. But when a 21 year old draws this much attention then you have to assume it’s a safe bet he will become a big player.

Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva has reportedly been on the radar of many of Europe’s top clubs over the last year as his consistency and talent have been there for all to see.

There has been intense speculation about which club he will eventually sign for and Real Madrid have been given a massive boost with the player himself saying that he would love a move to Madrid:

“I belong to Cruzeiro, whatever needs to happen will happen.

“Of course it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid, I make no secret of that. It would be an honour for me to join that team, but in order for that to happen both clubs have to come to an agreement. All I can do is wait.”

Real Madrid possibly have the best midfield in Europe right now with Luca Modric and Tony Kroos forming a brilliant partnership when fit. Silva probably won’t be getting into the team for the next year at least and therefore it might be realistic to suggest he does stay out on loan for a while – even if a transfer materialises.

But this guy is a serious talent and we believe that, before too long, he will be knocking on the door of the first team at Real Madrid – if indeed he does join the club.

Let’s have a look at the lad in action. Real Madrid fans: could Silva do a job in the first team straight away?

Probably Silva is a well talented player, but I don’t think he ‘ll be into real Madrid team by yet.
