He’s been under heavy pressure as Arsenal manager over the last couple of years, but you might argue that no one knows his team better than Arsene Wenger. If this is the case, however, why has he left such a gaping hole in the midfield for all these years?
Football is always evolving, but the need for an enforcer, a disciplinarian in the engine room is still relevant. You only need to look at Chelsea with and without Nemanja Matic to see just how relevant.
But the Arsenal boss has been resistant to such a signing and it will come as little surprise that he is being linked to another creator in the latest news cycle.
The Daily Star reports:
ARSENAL are in the process of submitting a bid to sign Barcelona star Pedro.
The 27 year old is an accomplished player of course. He’s played 47 times for Spain (16 goals) and has been an important squad member for Barcelona during the most successful period in their history, playing 289 times and scoring 93 goals. Most wingers with those stats would be guaranteed a start but not so at Barca.
Perhaps it’s time for a change. Pedro can play anywhere along the front line or in attacking midfield. He would certainly improve Arsenal’s squad but we can’t help thinking that the money could be better spent elsewhere.
Let’s see Pedro in action. Arsenal fans: good buy?

This story is utter rubbish.
