Phenomenon admits transfer to Arsenal ‘would be great’

Phenomenon

Arsenal fans keep begging the boss to buy an anchor man – it’s such an obvious foible in the team right now – but Wenger himself seems oblivious. He keeps getting linked with attacking players and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if he bought yet another one in the next couple of windows.

It’s almost impossible to work out the rationale behind his transfer strategy. He clearly has a weakness for playmakers. But when one of the best in the world was offered to him on a plate Wenger turned down Cesc Fabregas. You do the math…

Anyhoo, today’s Wenger bashing aside, Arsenal have been regularly linked with a young creator/forward of late and the player himself has spilt the beans to suggest that Arsenal would be his preferred choice if he were to make a big move.

The Express reports:

Paulo Dybala admits he WANTS £31m Arsenal move instead of Liverpool and Man Utd

and they quote the player as saying:

“To know that someone like that thinks highly of me fills me with pride.

“I can’t deny that going to Arsenal and playing in the Premier League would be great, but at the moment I’m a Palermo player.

You never quite know how these kids are going to turn out but the Arsenal coach likes to invest in youth and this kid looks the nuts.

The 21 year old striker has been at Palermo since 2012 and started raising eyebrows on a regular basis of late. He’s played 14 games this season and hit the back of the net 6 times – impressive stats for one so young and playing in a major league.

What we like most about the Argentine is that he strikes the ball so early to catch the opposition off guard.

Let’s take a look at him in action. Arsenal fans: should Arsene be spending a mooted £31m on this kid?
