This one is a real bonus for Manchester United. After an injury nightmare on the left side of defence, as well as in many other areas, United look a little threadbare.
So pictures of Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo training at Carrington this week will come as a huge relief to Louis van Gaal and the United faithful alike.
Rojo dislocated his shoulder in the game against Manchester City at the beginning of November and The Guardian reported at the time that he could be out for 6 weeks.
But he looks to be enjoying training again ahead of schedule.
Rojo started his Manchester United career in a slightly less familiar role than he was used to – in the centre of defence. While he did look a bit shakey initially we were impressed with the way that he quickly grew into the role and he seemed to be improving week on week. The injury was a cruel blow at a time that Rojo was gaining momentum.
But now he’s back he will offer cover in the middle and on the left. He isn’t expected to play this weekend against Hull. But the Stoke game could see a return for the talented Argentinian.
Let’s have a look at some highlights. Manchester United fans: are you impressed with Rojo?
