First things first. Carlo Ancelotti has told the press that he would be delighted to sign a new contract at Real Madrid. His current contract expires in 2016 Marca says:
ITALIAN WOULD JUMP AT CHANCE TO EXTEND CONTRACT
Ancelotti only has eyes for Real Madrid
Ancelotti seems absolutely tailor made for this job. He’s not only a brilliant tactician and good with the players. But he gives the impression that the job is as relaxing and easy as going fishing. He is a calm head under the intense pressure of the biggest job in football and that is what makes him the best man for now and the future. Could Ancelotti become one of the longest serving Madrid coaches ever?
The second potential signing is that of Marco Reus. There is way too much speculation about a transfer to think that he will stay at Dortmund beyond next summer. We believe that it’s just a matter of where he goes. Marca says:
Real Madrid keen on Marco Reus
Who wouldn’t be? He’s pure class. If Real Madrid really want him they may well get their way – especially with Barca banned from making more signings until January 2016.
The biggest problem that they might have is persuading the brilliant attacker that he will have a place in the starting eleven. He’s an amazing player but where would you play him, on the current form of the team?
Perhaps the idea of Reus signing will further strengthen the rumours of a Bale departure?
Let’s see the marvellous winger in action. Madrid fans: where would Reus fit in the team?
