Real Madrid

The most frightening thing about Real Madrid

Real_madrid_forever

Scary

We are accustomed to seeing a Real Madrid side fumbling around for results at this stage of the season. Certainly, it took at least half of the last campaign before we saw Real Madrid look anything like the beast that hammered Munich in the semis and won The Champions League.

But, despite a couple of bad results right at the start of the season, Real Madrid already look as if they are near to full speed. Another battering at the weekend, this time against Athletic, and the confidence is soaring.

Real Madrid arguably have the most settled team in Europe. With everyone fit the team is easy to pick and it’s firing on all cylinders.

But the most frightening part, for us, is that we feel new signings James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos are only playing at about 50% of their capacity right now. Make no mistake, these were two of the best signings in Europe this summer.

Kroos is one of the best and most intelligent passers of the ball in the world of football and when he finds his feet this team can be even quicker, even more incisive.

The same can be said of Rodriguez who has such an important position in the side at number 10. When he starts properly feeling the pulse of this team, and understanding the movement of his team mates we will see the real Rodriguez.

Real Madrid are way ahead of schedule this season but they still have so much obvious room for improvement. Rarely have we seen a team make such a compelling case, so early in the season, to retain The Champions League.

The biggest concern would be whether they are peaking too soon. But with the new signings still to get anywhere near their best, we can see Madrid getting even better before the turn of the year.

Can anyone stop Real Madrid?

I am happy that cristiano ronaldo have a good midfielders (james & kroos) who will help him & the team in setting new records. I hope benzema will soon regain his perfect positioning in terms of scoring too!
