A fascinating early season tie and you feel that some of the media have already written a draft for their post match report.
Because recent history suggests that, while Arsenal have been decent this season, they will once again struggle against big boys Chelsea.
As for Chelsea they are in great from right now, if not on fire yet. Jose Mourinho has got hide team clicking and they look to have the beating of most sides that they play. But we do feel that they have been a tad over-hyped.
While Chelsea are strong in all areas, they are heavily dependent on Diego Costa and can’t yet steamroll opposition in the same way that you feel an on song Manchester City could. But as the season wears on that real fear factor may well come for Chelsea under the brilliant guidance of The Uber Confident One.
This could be a new dawn for Arsenal. Surely a victory at The Bridge – where Jose has only been beaten once in the league – would represent a platform for the club to really challenge for the title after so many promising, yet ultimately disappointing seasons.
