The Toffees have had a testing start to the season but they arguably have more top players now than at any time since they last won the league in the 80s.
Barkley is mustard. Lukaku a monster and masterful marksman. And their fullbacks compare with any in The Premier League.
In fact Chelsea are one of the few sides who could argue that theirs are superior. Even though they have lost Ashley Cole they do have Branislav Ivanovic, Filipe Luis and Cesar Azpilicueta. The latter, a right back by nature, is keeping the new man out of the team while Ivanovic plays on the right.
So it may seem a little strange that Seamus Coleman is being linked with a move to Chelsea. The Guardian says:

Sadly, with Roman Abramovich likely to decide that Hibbert looks a wee bit too much like Vladimir Putin for his liking, Mourinho will almost certainly bid for Séamus Coleman instead.
If he is tempted to move Coleman may worry that he will struggle for game time. While they may, initially, be legitimate concerns Ivanovic is on the wrong side of 30 and could well move inside if and when John Terry no longer commands a starting spot.
And Coleman offers the sort of attacking play that could take Chelsea on again. He’s a dream of a full back – equally impressive repelling attacks as he is at starting them. He’s quick, strong, has a wonderful motor and consistent precision in his deliveries.
While injuries to other members of the squad may leave Chelsea with other priorities in the market come January, this is a player with the potential to improve any right flank in the league.
