Real Madrid: Superstar’s future cleared up?

Future sorted?

There has been a lot of talk over the last few weeks about the future of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

He has perhaps reflected the views of many Real Madrid fans who didn’t want to see the departures of Angel di Maria and Xabi Alonso this summer.

Ronaldo recently stated his desire to one day return to United but Real Madrid will reportedly publicly assuage the fears of the fans by warning Chelsea and United off the player.

The Independent reported:

Manchester United and Chelsea are to be told publicly that they have no chance of signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

It’s understood Real Madrid want to put an end to the speculation with the Evening Standard reporting that the Champions League holders have decided to issue a hands-off statement.

Ronaldo only signed a new contract this year which has four years left to run.

We will have a much better idea about his true feelings as the season progresses. Because when the new signings bed in Real Madrid could be flying once more.

Toni Kroos is regarded by many in England as one of the signings of the summer and James Rodríguez will surely improve even more, despite a fantastic year at international level and in France with Monaco.

But there remains a feeling that it hasn’t been the best summer of transfer business by Real Madrid on the back of their Champions League success with many, in particular, questioning the sale of Angel di Maria after what was easily his best season in the white of Madrid.

Real Madrid fans: are you concerned that CR7 might leave at the end of the season?
