Manchester United fans are desperate for more imports but may see more departures than arrivals today.
Javier Hernandez is one who seems closest tot he exit door with reports over the last few days suggesting that he may be on his way to Real Madrid.
That one now seems closer than ever as Chicharito’s Mexico international boss, no less, has tweeted his congratulations on Hernandez’s move to Real Madrid.
Miguel Herrera @MiguelHerreraDT
Llegar al Real Madrid es una gran oportunidad para @CH14_ , a quién le deseo el mejor de los ¡éxitos!
Hernandez has been a good buy for Manchester United, coming off the bench to great effect in his four years at the club. But he wants more game time and seems surplus to requirements in new manager Louis van Gaal’s system.
Manchester United fans will surely be sad to see such a popular and hard working figure leave the club and will be unsure as to whether he will get any more minutes at Real Madrid ,who have the talents of Benzema, Rodriguez, Ronaldo and Bale to call on up front.
What seems certain is that the player will now leave Manchester United for Real Madrid, be it on loan or permanently.
Does this point to another striker signing for United? Manchester United also seem keen to offload Danny Welbeck and, if both leave, will LvG be happy with RvP and Rooney, plus the coltish talents of Wilson, up front? Watch this space.
