Real Madrid: Strongest XI with Falcao

Awesome

They say that a rolling stone gathers no moss. And Real Madrid have clearly stuck to this philosophy through the summer.

Because even though they won La Decima, after years in The Champions League wilderness, they still went out and signed two of the best players in the world this summer.

In the past Real Madrid have been criticised for buying stellar individuals regardless of how they might impact the team. And this had been seen by many as the reason for their lack of recent success in Europe.

But their signings of James Rodriguez and Tony Kroos this summer seem as if they will add balance to the team if anything.

And we wonder whether the spending spree has finished yet. Because we can easily imagine them adding the brilliant Colombian Radamel Falcao to their line up before September. Of course they already have
a good number nine in Karim Benzema but it would not be a complete surprise if Madrid went out and spent megabucks again. And we do believe that the Colombian striker would improve the team.

Madrid’s brilliant German edition can play in various roles and some think that his best position is just behind the striker. But with Rodriguez also coming to the club this summer we think that Toni Kroos will be asked to play a more defensive role in the midfield.

Real Madrid’s defence has never been the best in the world but who cares when they have got a forward line like this?

So, if the club do push the boat out to sign Radamel Falcao this summer (and bring in Navas as expected), then this is what we believe to be Madrid’s best starting line up.
