Arsenal odds on favourites to sign devastating duo

Two top players

It seems so obvious, as onlookers, exactly what Arsenal need to do in the transfer market this summer.

If (and it’s currently a big if) they manage to tie Sami Khedira down to a deal then they will have eliminated one major weakness from their side – that being a lack of grit and determination in the middle of the park which has led to some serious spankings from their major rivals.

The other area that needs immediate attention, assuming the Debuchy deal gets done, is up top where Arsenal lack variety and quality in numbers.

Alexis Sanchez is a brilliant addition but more of a wide man. We still think that The Gunners need one or two more finishers in their side.

And although the idea of bringing Mario Balotelli in has been met with concern by some Arsenal fans, we still think that he would be a great addition. It seems that the rumour mill has gone a little cold on this one but SkyBet now have Arsenal as odds on favourites to sign Balotelli this summer, if he does leave his club, at odds of 4/5.

The other player who Arsenal are now odds on to sign is Loic Remy at 10/11.

Olivier Giroud is a stylish and crafty finisher but Balotelli has the power, and Loic Remy the pace, that the Arsenal man lacks.

We strongly believe that, with these three strikers in the squad, Arsenal would be much closer to the title next season.

Arsenal would then have have the perfect variety of strikers, as well as the steel in midfield, and extra ammunition from out wide. Having only lost out in the title race by eight points last season we feel that these guys could well get Arsenal over the line.

Arsenal fans: would you be keen on these two additions?

You have to be stark raving bonkers to want Balotelli anywhere near our squad. The last thing we need is a player, with an over inflated ego (e.g Bendtner) parading round the Emirates claiming to be the “Worlds Best”, whilst doing as little as possible to earn that lofty status. We need a forward that’s prepared to do a bit of running around, chasing down defenders, making himself available, instead of waiting for the ball to be played right onto his foot every time we’re mounting an attack. Also, i don’t think you’ve taken into account of what a disruptive influence Balotelli is on the pitch and dressing room. Buying him would be too counter productive….a complete waste of time.

he is a loose canon but if anyone can tame him its arsene wenger .his price has nearly halved since the world cup to 14 million. if puma coughed up a third of this as he is sponcered by them ,he has to be worth 10 million all day long he is dead keen to play for us and would give us strenthin front of goal.

with remy suffering from drink drive conviction ,his price has also fallen and for 8 million would be that third striker option .
sami kahidra although wanting silly wages would shore up the back four as well as support the attack he is pottentialy yhe kingpin in the team and as such we must sign him. with all three we go into the season much stronger for only around another 45 million ,

I think we can add one more striker like Jackson Martinez from porto and Carvalho fro benfica in the central holding role. These two plus David Ospina,a center back to replace the want out Vermalean, Cambell, a revitalised Ozil, asettled and fit Carzola ,Sanchez, Rambo,Wiltshere, The Ox etc. can challenge any team on Europe. Let’s remember that the core of our team have grien together as a team. With the exprience of Per in defence, Rosicky, podolski and Arteta, we csn challenge for honours in differnt fronts.
