Manchester United’s Principal Target ready to move on – report

The Theatre Of Dreams

Such a top player

It seems that there is now daily speculation about Arturo Vidal to Manchester United.

Manchester United aren’t the only team to be linked with the player. But the fact that there is so much hype about a move to Manchester suggests that Vidal could well be moving from Juventus this summer.

We always maintain that there is no smoke without fire and most of the time players do move when rumours, surrounding a transfer, are this intense.

But he won’t come cheap and the question is whether LvG is prepared to pay a massive fee for his services.

Reports over the weekend suggest that Juventus could be keen on taking Nani as part of the package.

And The Daily Mail reports that Manchester United are increasingly confident that they can do a deal. They say:

Manchester United ready to make play for Arturo Vidal as Juventus and Chile star’s camp shows encouraging signs

Sportsmail revealed in June that Vidal had emerged as new manager Louis van Gaal’s principal midfield target after securing Ander Herrera in a £28.4million deal from Athletic Bilbao.

United are yet to make formal contact with Juventus but are understood to have made tentative enquiries to establish whether the Chilean, who so impressed at the World Cup, would be open to a move.

Vidal, who has scored 31 goals in the last two seasons for Juventus, is now thought to be ready to move on

At 27 he will offer at least 4 to 5 years of real top quality football for Manchester United.

Manchester United will surely sign a combative central midfielder this summer to complement the talent of Ander Herrera.

And with Vidal such an exciting target for the role any alternative would now seem like a step down for many Manchester United fans.

The Chilean is a magnificent footballer. Not only a wonderful tackler with a great engine, but also someone who loves to get forward and score goals.

He’s part of a dieing breed of box to box midfielders who can do everything on the football pitch.

Let’s see him in action. Manchester United fans: would you be gutted if you didn’t get Vidal now?
