Arsenal: Fee Agreed – report

Deal close?

No transfers ever seem to be straightforward with Arsenal. Today’s reports are positive. But, as usual, there is a caveat!

The Daily Mail reports that Arsenal have agreed fee for the brilliant Alexis Sanchez.

But the caveat is that the selling club are waiting to see if the offer will be matched or bettered by other parties.

Arsenal have agreed a £34million deal in principle with Barcelona for Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez but Barcelona are waiting to see if Juventus can match the offer.

With Sanchez being one of them best performers at The World Cup this summer he’s bound to attract interest from more than just Arsenal.

But the player is seemingly attracted by the idea of a move to London and if Arsenal do stump up the cash then the chances of him playing at The Emirates next season appear pretty good.

Arsenal have agreed a £34million deal in principle with Barcelona for Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez but Barcelona are waiting to see if Juventus can match the offer.

Sanchez is lightning fast and full of tricks but also always puts in a shift and can play anywhere across the front line. Sanchez would be an invaluable addition to the Arsenal squad next season.

He’s one of those really exciting signings that can get the crowd on their feet. He scored 21 goals last season from wide positions and it’s this adaptability that will make him such a valuable player. Because, signing Sanchez means that Arsenal are effectively adding a striker as well as a wide man. Sanchez can play at number 10, or up top, but can perform equally well out wide when Giroud is starting.

Let’s have another look at him in action. Arsenal fans: would this guy transform the club from title pretenders to serial winners?
