According to The Daily Mail Manchester City are adamant that they will resist any attempts by Inter Milan to sign Stevan Jovetic this summer.
Manchester City will resist any attempt by Inter Milan to take striker Stevan Jovetic back to Italy.
Inter are understood to have made an inquiry about taking Jovetic on loan with a view to a permanent £18million transfer.
After an initial injury last autumn Jovetic failed to make his mark on a title winning Manchester City side and there have been questions asked about his long-term future at the club.
Inter Milan are well aware of his talents having seen him star in Serie A for a few years at Fiorentina.
Still only 24 years of age he looks like a really good number 10 in the making. Inter could certainly use his services.
But while The Citizens reportedly want to hold onto the player we can’t help thinking that Manchester City could probably buy a more suitable striker if they did get rid of them.
Like everyone else, of course, Manchester City are subject to the FIFA fair play rules. But City have already been hit hard so they will be extremely mindful of balancing the books this summer.
But Jovetic could surely bring around 20 million pounds in and give Manchester City a decent kitty to spend again.
So Manchester City fans: Does Jovetic simply need to find his feet at the club or should sell to Inter and reinforce the front line with another star this summer?
Let’s see the lad in action.

No way, he may have been injured at first and had a slow start but he’s got great talent and will certainly find a role in our team next season, a great talent with keeping.

Jojo is a required player, City are not a selling club, our players “go” when we allow them to go. Jojo injury free will have a great season with us.
