Carlo Ancelotti’s latest comments about Real Madrid may be a signal of intent or they may just be a way of throwing everybody off the scent with regards his summer transfer activity.
But while he feels that he has a near perfect forward line he refuses to rule out a move for Luis Suarez this summer:
‘It is difficult to improve what we have,’ said Ancelotti. ‘Luis Suarez is a fantastic player, but it is disrespectful to talk about a transfer now.’
He added: ‘We’re in no rush and we don’t need to bring in a lot of players. We have until August 31.’
But, whatever happens with strikers, Real Madrid clearly aren’t desperate to add to the forward line. Some business that they may want to do more urgently is to add new blood to their midfield.

But Real Madrid will find it difficult to snare a player who is in his prime and much loved by his current club.
