After all the hype and speculation we are finally down to the business end of the year in terms of transfers.
Roberto Martinez had a great first season at Everton but he’s a man who looks exceedingly hungry. Hungry not just to maintain what he’s got but to try to crash the party of the traditional elite next season.
Everton will need to spend really wisely o get any where near this dream and player who might just fit the bill is Atletico Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui.
The Daily Mail has reported that the player could be available and that Everton might be keen:
Everton have rekindled interest in Atletico Madrid midfielder Josuha Guilavogui.
Atletico are now looking to sell for a reduced fee although Roberto Martinez’s Everton may seek a loan deal.
The 23-year-old only started one league game for Atletico last season before being loaned straight back out to his old club St. Etienne.
But proof of his pedigree comes from the fact that, despite his tender years, he has already turned out five times for the senior France national side since his debut in 2013.
Everton are pretty well set in midfield, especially if they keep Gareth Barry, but this guy looks like a really mobile and composed defensive midfielder who could do a job in several positions and really bolster the squad.
So we’re giving him a thumbs up. But let’s have a look at the lad and you can make up your own mind. Everton fans what you think?
