Man U

The Good News for Manchester United

manager_Alex_Ferguson_2_by_DaShiR

There is still time

Make no mistake. Manchester United are on the cusp of a major disaster. They are lacking the leadership or clear strategy required for a business to succeed, regardless of industry.

Things were run well for a long time. But now they are being run badly. You can’t put this down to transitional hiccups. It’s gone way beyond that now.

But the good news is that the disaster can still be averted. Manchester United can start travelling in the right direction again very quickly. But they have to do one thing. Get rid of David Moyes now.

Give him another 6 months and £100m to spend and the club will be in much worse shape than it is now, with no money left to buy their way out of trouble. Keeping Moyes could make a short-term headache into a long-term demise. He’s making the wrong calls, the wrong signings and getting his tactics all wrong. If there are any tactics. It’s currently hard to figure what Moyes’s team strategies are, so headless is the chicken.

If they cut him loose now, get Fergie in short-term with a hands on lieutenant like Red Nev or Giggsy, and then appoint a visionary like Jurgen Klopp in May this season can very soon seem like a bad dream.

But if Moyes is given the keys to the safe to continue with his highly confused plan of reshaping Manchester United then we could be talking about a long term malaise and a club stuck on 20 titles for twenty years.

So while the landscape seems very bleak for Manchester United right now, the good news is that there is still time to avoid massive problems. If Manchester United do the right thing NOW and get rid of the boss, the club can continue to progress and write this season off as a blip. But if they continue with Moyes we really fear for the long term health of the club.

People have been saying that United are not a “sacking” club. Wrong!!!! Wilf McGuiness, Frank O’Farrell, Dave Sexton, The Doc, Big Ron. This was the transition that we needed to get the wheels back on track. If it wasn’t for the fact that the Doc had an issue with something in his trousers Big Ron would never have got the job. The Doc was the only real winner out of all of these managers. Then came Fergie, a REAL WINNER. Does anybody remember Aberdeen??? These decision were made in a time when money didn’t rule the game. All these managers were given an opportunity but for whatever reason it didn’t work out for them. But look where this transition lead us – To Fergie. Now money rules the game, sponsorship, advertising, transfers, global marketing. Times have changed. Decisions now have to be made at a more expeditious rate when things go south. Moyes had had his time. Ok, it didn’t work out. You can’t keep dragging this out in the vain hope that it will turn around. We need to move on, but not to another second tier manager. We need a winner with a winning mentality. These people are few and far between and will be tough to get, but one think we do have is a magnificent history and a pulling power that the new incumbent can build on. You do not have to be a Rhodes Scholar to see that this is an unwanted blip of mammoth proportions. This is the route back to the promised land, but the decision needs to be made now and not at seasons end. This suffering is intolerable and needs to be terminated now for the good of everybody’s health including David Moyes.

You don’t replace a Manchester united manager like Fergie with someone like moyes. He left an old defence and midfield to moyes. He shouldn’t have given him the job. The biggest team , the biggest job in the world should’ve gone to the best candidate and not someone who wasn’t qualified to do it. Both Fergie and moyes forgot about youth. Look at Liverpool and look at us this season. Moyes get out. Sign your p45 and walk away.

I said from day one that you have to replace Ferguson with an even bigger name, mourinho was the man, he has been there, seen it, won everything and got all the t shirts to prove it.
How can we give the biggest job in world football toma complete idiot like Moyes. He has won nothing. And he will win nothing.more worryingly, is the way the club has regressed. He has spent £65 already and januzaj has emerged and yet the team are playing like complete strangers. No tactics, no guts, no skill, no ideas!!
Do I blame Moyes? No. He was given the job and he was hardly going to turn it down. I blame Ferguson and the rest of the board for allowing Ferguson to make this decision. Remember, as good as ferguson was, he still was sucking up to the glazers for years, he still made monumental mistakes in the past few years particularly. Two CL finals against barca with pathetic tactics, bought obertan, nani, anderson, young, Valencia, bellion, allowed pogba to leave due to his stubbornness.
So ferguson wasn’t the brilliant manager in the end that we all proclaim, he allowed our midfield to rot.
So I think the board and ferguson should get together today, and act like grown up men and leave their overinflated egos in their bums and sack Moyes. If we leave him in charge any longer, the club will go backwards further. Grow up United, make the decision now.

David Moyes is a fool. The question one can ask is ”Is the Man United board and owners as foolish as Moyes?” I believe Moyes contract has a performance clause that he has already contravened? What is the board waiting for before giving him the boot? The man is not adding value to club, KICK HIM OUT NOW!!!!!

Moyes is not a good coach sack him now the same team he is not winning with now was the same team Fergie used the epl last year why the disaster now. The whole problem about Moyes is he dont actually know where Mata should play. If mata is playing a 10 role and Rooney is playing the same 10 position is it not a double role? Then there lies the problem for moyes and that does not make him a good coach. Please sack him now we tired of the provoke.

Is it not unanimous that DM needs to be sacked so that MAN UTD do not go into the decline as Liverpool or any other big club like even Arsenal have not won anything for the past 9 years or Roma or Intermilan after Mourinho resigned.
A big club needs a BIG manager who has the tactical knowledge and plays the number 10 in his preferred position and not as a winger.
Please SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK Moyes and put Giggs and Neville in temporary charge with Scholes also under the guidance of SAF so that atleassssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst some thing can be recovered from a NIGHTMARE of a SEASON 2013-2014.
With 9 games remaining, if MAN UTD at least get 25 points out of it, there is a hope of 4th place with dependency that other clubs loose. If not for the UEFA champions league, at least for the EUROPA league next season.
Just look at DM & how pale and aged he looks just after 8 months in charge.FOR HIS OWN GOOD, HE SHOULD RESIGN AND TAKE A YEARS BREAK & THEN MANAGE SOME MID TABLE CLUB OR MOVE TO FOOTBALL PUNDITRY.

if the club are serious about getting rid of moyles (he offers no leadership, no direction, and i think it’s fair to say that after nearly a full season he still has’nt a clue as to what his best team is.) then surely he needs to go now. if we have a manager in mind, will he come and if yes get him in now. let him see the problem for firsthand and then at the end of the season he can get any new players in early

it is hard to believe that all the die fans of utd are the only ones to be utterly disturbed by the demise under moyes- no reaction from saf ,the board or the glazers!! the loss to coming but the way we were dismantled and beaten was the height of humiliation-when will it end?

It’s useless to talk about Moyes’s outstanding bad performance in this current championship, as fans’ opinions will never be taken into consideration by the club. All we have to do is to boycott all matches – home and away – instead of being insulted and humiliated week-in & week-out.

Fergie is to blame because like MUTV he only employed Scots.
When Fergie was manager he would put out the teams in different formations depending on the opposition. Since Moyes has become Manager he has put out the team on MUTV
In the same formation every game 4 – 2 – 3 – 1. He has not the seance to change the team to the opposition. Against Liverpool he could see that the midfield was being over run but
Only changed the team after 75 minutes when instead of putting another midfielder on
He took Fellaini off and put Cleverley on and when Vidic was sent off he waited until the 86th minute to replace him with Rio. The mans incompetent
If he is given 100 mil. To spend he will still play the same way. He will not buy the players who we need to fit into the present squad he will just buy the dearest
What Man Utd should do now after Fergies disaster of picking Moyes is to remove his statue to outside the toilets.

This clueless moron of a manager is single handedly turning the club, it’s players and supporters into a joke for other fans and media alike to take pot shots at……the management should realize that us fans are really pissed at the fact that they seem complacent in handling this problem with an incompetent manager…….the stands and advertisers would be leaving soon if they continue to drag their feet over this issue…….Most importantly Moyes should not be allowed to spend any more transfer money cause he has proven his inability to make good decisions.
