Everton surprise EPL bookie favourites to sign United star

He would be a sensational signing for a club which could still do with a couple more genuinely inventive players

With a fraction of the budget of their North West rivals, Everton find themselves on the same points as Manchester United with less goals conceded and matches lost, after nearly a third of the season.

Everton fans must be more than happy about the transition between managers. Questions about whether Roberto Martinez could go from managing a team expected to lose to one expected to win have been answered with interest. There is a feeling that Everton are in the ascendancy and that Martinez has only just started to implement his master plan.

Several more signings are expected in the next year as Martinez continues to evolve the team from a solid workmanlike outfit to one with swagger and technical excellence. One player who could most certainly bring that is Manchester United’s Shinji Kagawa.

He’s been getting more minutes in the team of late but there is still a feeling of uncertainty around his future. It is commonly assumed that, if he does leave Manchester United, he will rejoin Borussia Dortmund – a club where he excelled as a number 10.

But, rather surprisingly, SkyBet have Everton as the favourite English club to sign him if he does remain in The Premier League. At odds of 16/1 it’s far from a given but we think he would be a sensational signing for a club which could still do with a couple more genuinely inventive players.

Let’s see him in action CLICK for KAGAWA.

Everton fans. The poll for the day is this. Given the choice, would you rather have Roberto Martinez or David Moyes at the helm of your club right now?
