Prem clubs pipped at post in Pep pursuit

Pep Guardiola4

Pep Guardiola has shocked many by opting to manage Bayern Munchen next season.

The Spaniard had earlier spoken of his aspirations to manage in The Premier League. He was quoted in The Guardian as saying:

‘In Italy, Latin people will support you when you are playing and when you lose, they kill you. In England I’m always surprised that people always support everything and that is nice. That’s why, maybe, I hope to have the challenge or the opportunity to train there’

But, this afternoon, Bayern legend and chief exec Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed:

“We are delighted that we have managed to get Pep Guardiola whom several big clubs wanted and contacted. He is one of the most successful trainers in the world and we are sure that not only Bayern Munich but the whole of German football will benefit from what he brings.”

Its going to be interesting to see how he does with Bayern, i personally think its a massive task he has taken on, and i personally think as well as other members at http://www.talkoftheterrace.net that he will fail. He looked class at Barcelona, but come on anybody could win titles there with that quality, look at the bloke in charge at present, nobody has heard of him but he is on course of winning a title. Pep for me couldnt fail, but he ca now he is out of his comfort zone, Bayern are a top club but not as good as Barca make it look so easy, he has done well snubbing Chelsea though, i mean who wants to go to a club where your be fired after 4 months huh?.
