There’s been plenty of transfer spec pertaining to Arsenal over the last 24 hours. We shall leave your good selves to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Caught Offside reckons that Les Transferts reckons that Spanish tabloid Marca reckons that Arsenal have made a 20m Euro bid for Valencia forward Soldado. It must be true
Staying in Spain, Betis midfielder Beñat Etxebarria is also on Arsene’s wishlist according to AS and would be available for between 15-20m Euros. Betis spokesman Valero Bosch has told reporters that they won’t stand in his way if a club matches the buy out clause.
Rumours also continue to circulate about Arsene’s supposed interest in fading Manchester United star Javier Hernandez and Montpellier skipper Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (Talksport)
Meanwhile Andre Santos could be heading out of the club. Underused so far at Arsenal, Turkish side Galatasaray are sniffing around. Turkish newspaper Fanatik quotes chief exec Rufti Aribogan as saying,
‘Andre Santos is one of the names on our list…..’
‘….We currently have no contact with his club and the player himself.’
Transfers aside, the tiresome internationals are mercifully over and we have an almost uninterrupted run of club football now until March. Arsenal travel to Norwich this weekend to play a side low on confidence after a catalogue of poor performances this season.
Arsenal are surely a safe bet at 4/7 with William Hill
