Of all the strikers that Chelsea have reportedly run the rule over in the last year, Falcao seems to be the one that excites the fans most. Based on comments made to soccersweep from the Chelsea crew, the Colombian is top of the wanted list.
As if Chelsea haven’t splashed out enough in the close season on Hazard, Marin, Oscar, Victor Moses et al, The Daily Mail and others are reporting that the red hot striker is going to finally move the The Bridge in a staggering £45m deal during the winter window.
Despite the fact that Chelsea has been a strikers graveyard for various big names in the last few years the 26 year old Falcao, who has 117 goals in just 218 appearances for club and country, could well be open to a move to the big time. He’s quick, technical brilliant and utterly ruthless in front of goal.
So, Chelsea fans, is Falcao the final piece in the jigsaw for The Blues?
